Andrea Dramicanin

Andrea Dramićanin was born in Belgrade in 1990. She has graduated from the Facuty of Fine Arts in Belgrade, Department of Sculpture. The last semester of her MA studies, she finished at Ecole nationale superieure des beaux-arts de Paris, as the recipient of the French Government scholarship.

Her art is marked by a cynical view of women’s position in the society, and their assumed, anticipated vulnerability.Paradoxically, Andrea applies that critical attitude to completely demean the postulates of modern yet essentially still patriarchal surrounding.

She has received Beta and Rista Vukanović award, the Vladimir Veličković Fund award, and the Private value Swiss Embassy  in Serbia award.

She has exhibited in Belgrade, Sarajevo, Paris, Dusseldorf, Ontario…
