Jovana Ilić is a Serbian-French multidisciplinary artist and composer. She is recognised for her work in the fashion industry, particularly as the Global Director of Visual Identity at Givenchy. She has collaborated with leading photographers and artists, and her creative practice spans digital drawing, photography, video, and music. Her innovative concepts and collaborations with photographers such as Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin, Mert and Marcus, Willy Vanderperre, as well as with artists including Erykah Badu, Madonna, Kanye West, Marina Abramović, and Benjamin Shinea, have left a lasting imprint on contemporary visual culture.
In her work, she explores the relationship between the self, others, and the natural world, merging the intimate with the universal. In 2020, she released her album EGO MANIA. During the pandemic, she began a daily digital drawing practice in Procreate, which has since become a key part of her artistic expression. Inspiration comes from a wide range of sources — art, music, film, architecture, science, psychology, and mostly philosophy. she strives to translate experience and instinct into forms that carry emotional depth, honesty, and technical precision.
