Insta24boot is an art exhibition that explores the limits and possibilities of Instagram Stories. The exhibition is the brainchild of Vladimir Aleksić, a seemingly ordinary young man who started experimenting with Instagram Stories in 2016.

Aleksić discovered shortcuts, cavities, secret openings, and unimaginable exits within the existing options of the Instagram Story application, which led him to create a new artistic expression he calls the daily boot. The daily boot is a hybrid between the daily story and an artistic expression that draws a clear line between the two.

The exhibition showcases Aleksić’s daily boots, which are created spontaneously, depending on how bootable the day is. Moving objects become a challenge, and every situation is seen as a potential boot. Aleksić’s experimentation with Instagram Stories is a humorous and unusual way of subverting the dominant model of communication. The exhibition challenges the way we interact with social media and invites us to explore the limits and possibilities of this medium.
