The works created during 2020. and 2021. represent the artist’s reflections on the topic of aestheticizing the culture of animal use in today’s society. By choosing ceramics as a material and the process of fine shaping, the author raises the question of the use of animal and natural resources in modern society and the search for a more humane alternative. Works of bright colors arranged in colorful units almost automatically cheer up the viewer. Until the critical apparatus is activated, we think that the works are charming, irresistible, sweet. Very quickly we are convinced that we are somehow deceived and that the works depict the skins of animals, their heads in trophies, body parts. The seductive colorfulness of the colors and the thoughtfulness of the composition draw our attention from the object of presentation to the way of presentation, to the play of art, concludes art historian Ana Simona Zelenović.
